First and foremost, it\u2019s a work with an international reputation \u2013 set in the global context of avant-garde art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some sections, such as the powerful \u2018BOEM PAUKESLAG\u2019 are part of the Dutch speaking collective memory. In our language region there\u2019s no literary work that generated so many studies and publications. Its influence resonates in generations of poets and readers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cHet manuscript van&nbsp;<\/em>Bezette stad<em>&nbsp;is&nbsp;hors cat\u00e9gorie. Het boek biedt de belangrijkste literaire verwerking van de voor onze gewesten zo ingrijpende Grote Oorlog en dat belang ontleent het in belangrijke mate aan de vormgeving van de tekst. Using the artistname \u2018Livinus\u2019, Van de Bundt developed his so-called \u2018Photopeintures\u2019. Marcel Broodthaers was highly fascinated by these Light Paintings, and by Livinus\u2019 philosophy and techniques. The close friendship between both artists resulted in plans for a film by Broodthaers on Livinus\u2019 art, titled \u2018Lumi\u00e8re sur La Haye\u2019.
