Onder de titel ‘Trailers’ monteerde de Barbarber redactie in 1967 een groot aantal Hollywood filmtrailers achter elkaar. In 2001 werd deze montage gecompileerd als Barbarber nummer 91. Het nummer verscheen in 2004 in één exemplaar op videoband als cadeau voor uitgever Reinold Kuipers. Ter gelegenheid van de finissage van De Barbarber Tentoonstellingen bij Demian verscheen begin 2019 voor een select aantal liefhebbers het nummer 91 in een éénmalige oplage van 19 exemplaren op dvd met handgeschreven omslag door K. Schippers.

Cartoon bijdrage ‘Het moderne gezin’ in het tijdschrift ‘Bijster’ nummer 5 (1969 Amsterdam, De Bezige Bij) met hilarisch zelfportretje in inkt, meer dan 40 jaar later (2012) toegevoegd, waarmee de cartoonist de confrontatie met genoemd werk treffend in beeld brengt.

The Antwerp Publisher ‘Ontwikkeling’ took care of printing and distribution of this legendary underground magazine. A copy of Gnaoua is to be seen in Daniel Kramer’s photograph on the front cover of Bob Dylan’s record sleeve ‘Bringing it all back home’ (1965). Look for it on the mantelpiece!
This is the second edition (not stated) of Gnaoua that was printed in June 1964 and differs only from the first (April 1964) in two small text corrections on pages 87 and 101.
Excellent copy in mint condition.
